Here’s the scoop on who I am!

Hi! I’m Jessica Simpson (Yes, really. My maiden name is Gwiazdowski), the creative force behind Fields and Focus Photography & Photo Booths, where I specialize in capturing unforgettable moments at weddings. But my journey to this career wasn’t exactly typical—before I was behind the camera, I was a Philadelphia police officer for nearly a decade.

The turning point came the day I went on patrol only to endure the longest shift of my life. After just learning my daughter, Savannah, was on the way, three of my close friends had been shot in the line of duty. That moment made me realize it was time to shift my focus and create a life that felt more aligned with my family and my passions.

That’s when I discovered my knack for wedding photography. What began as a hobby quickly turned into a full-fledged business, and in time, I added a photo booth service to the mix—because who doesn’t love a little extra fun at a wedding, party, event, etc?

I’m a creative thinker, always looking for new ways to bring joy and beauty into the lives of my clients. I’m also a detail-oriented strategist who loves diving into the nitty-gritty of every project, ensuring everything comes together seamlessly.

Many would say the skill set of a police officer doesn’t exactly translate to being a photographer, but I beg to differ. From staying calm under pressure to thinking on my feet, the skills I developed in law enforcement have shaped how I run my business today. I’m always learning—whether it's keeping up with the latest trends on social media, taking online courses, or gaining hands-on experience in real life.

For me, this isn’t just a career. It’s a way of life, one that allows me to build something meaningful for my family while doing work I truly love. I can’t wait to help make your special moments unforgettable!

Ready, set—let’s do this!
